Our story

Two bakers, one old hardware store

Sam and Ellie opened Juniper & Rye in 2019 in the old Hendricks Hardware building, keeping the tin ceiling and the long oak counter. The rye starter is older than the business.

We buy flour from a mill two counties over, eggs from the Larsons down the road, and roast our coffee in small batches every Monday.
